In an age of technology where everything has become instant and quick, it seems that the art of letter-writing has been lost, along with a certain sincerity. We’ve turned from sitting down with pen in hand to staring at a piece of glass with a hundred volts of electricity running through it, tapping out an email. We’ve turned from thoughtfulness to efficiency. It’s no longer personal; no longer relational. It’s become precise and utilitarian.

In trying to bring the two together, I will personally dictate a letter addressed to its recipient by hand for every email written. So, if you ever receive an email from me, know that it was painstakingly crafted and that I full-heartedly mean what was written.
